Pratt Society Events

Members of the Pratt Society are invited to join a series of events that includes special receptions and private dinners or desserts with notable speakers and authors, town halls with the Library's CEO, and more.

Past events have included evenings with speakers like Colson Whitehead, Jon Meacham, Dan Rather, and Senator Barbara A. Mikulski.

Pratt Society Reception with Erik Larson

Thursday, May 2 at 6 pm

Join us for a Pratt Society reception with a best-selling author Erik Larson. Mr. Larson will be presenting his new book The Demon of Unrest: A Saga of Hubris, Heartbreak, and Heroism at the Dawn of the Civil War at the 7 pm public program. President’s Circle Dinner with Ali Velshi

Members of the President’s Circle will be invited to a dinner with award-winning journalist and author Ali Velshi. Mr. Velshi will be presenting his new book Small Acts of Courage: A Legacy of Endurance and the Fight For Democracy at the 7 pm public program. Bookseller Preview at The Ivy Bookshop
